Each commercial property building and their individual tenant base is unique in its own way. Most of which have distinct tenants, for example, a retail shopping plaza may only be one building, but hosts a variety of businesses – each with their own needs. As the property manager, we are responsible for both the individual tenants and the common areas. We not only enforce the lease as it is written, we make sure that each tenant is paying rent, and that they are paying their proportion of the operating expenses needed to maintain the common areas.
